DEATH CERTIFICATE SUBSCRIPTION

On 18 August 2023, Ordinance 265/2023 was published, making the first amendment to Ordinance no. 181/2017 of 31 May, which creates the online civil registry certificate, defining and regulating its scope, access conditions, validity period and fees due.

With the entry into force, on 1 September 2023, Ordinance no. 265/2023, of 18 August, death certificates made available online, which were previously valid for six months, now have no expiry date.

This change applies to all online death certificates whose subscription is valid on the date of entry into force of this decree.
