Rita Botelho Moniz is Of Counsel at paxlegal. She has a Law degree by the Lisbon University Law School. She holds an LL.M. in International and European Tax Law from the University of Maastricht and a Post-Graduation in Taxation, with a specialization in Advanced Corporate Taxation, from the Portuguese Catholic University Law School.

Rita is fluent in English and Spanish and has extensive experience in Portuguese, international and European tax law, assisting numerous clients on a daily basis, with particular focus on individuals, family offices, real estate funds, companies in the areas of real estate development and management, health and catering and other large and medium-sized companies.

She was a consultant in the areas of international and European tax between 2015 and 2017, in Luxembourg and the Netherlands, and a lawyer at Sérvulo & Associados until 2020. She is daily correspondent, author and co-author of several articles in the area of taxation, in IBFD, since 2018.
