Bárbara Pestana is Founding-Partner of paxlegal. Lawyer since 2000, she has a degree in Law by the Lusíada University Law School. She has a post-graduation in Taxation from the Instituto Superior de Gestão, and attended post-graduation courses in Copyright, Administrative Litigation and E-Commerce at the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa.

Fluent in English and French, she has significant experience in Immigration and Nationality, including Golden Visa, as well as in Real Estate, Non-Habitual Residents, Restructuring and Family Reunification in Portugal, Family Law and Successions.

She is the focal person for immigration cases, being a verified member of the community of Uglobal Verified professionals.  

She was an advisor to the Deputy Secretary of State of the Minister of Justice, between 2003 and 2004, and a legal advisor at the General Inspection of Cultural Activities of the Ministry of Culture, between 2006 and 2007. She was a partner at PMCM Advogados.
